In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing deposit transaction fraud cases, evaluating check negotiations, and making informed decisions to ensure the integrity of our banking operations.     Responsibilities
    • Review deposit transaction fraud cases with a focus on research
    • Evaluate check negotiations across various channels (ATM, mobile, OTC) to ensure payments
    • Utilize research tools to make informed decisions on check payments or returns
    • Document all decisions and processes related to returning checks
    • Communicate with banks regarding potential return checks
    • Place holds on funds to facilitate check returns
    • Investigate accounts as needed for fraud detection
    • Determine retention decisions based on customer risk assessment
    • Handle outbound calls as necessary, primarily for obtaining information from banks or advising customers on account closures
    • Case-based approach with no set number of calls required
