    If you're a people person with a knack for interior design, a working knowledge of CAD software, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

    We're a tech-heavy, well-organized company that's growing quickly. We're looking for someone to join our team as an Interior Designer who can collaborate with customers to select finishes and fixtures, schedule and attend visits with suppliers, and assist with customer selections in our project management app.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interior design principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. If you're enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and friendly, we encourage you to apply.

    Responsibilities

    • Interior Design: Collaborate with customers to select finishes and fixtures, such as appliances, light fixtures, tile, granite tops, cabinet layouts, flooring, paint, etc. Schedule and attend customers' visits with our suppliers.
    • CAD: Edit plans for remodels and additions on our cutting-edge software. Chief Architect or other CAD experience is helpful but not required.
    • Selections Coordinator: Organize customer selections in our project management app (BuilderTrend).
    • Customer Representative: Build and maintain really good client and vendor relationships. You'll be the main point of contact between sales and production.
    • Sales: Contact and manage new customer leads by setting up consultations, then guiding them through the Design/Pre-construction process; attend a handful of trade shows each year.
    • Coordination: Work with our estimating/purchasing nerds and field guys to get materials and fixtures on site.

    Qualifications

    • A commitment to a career in Interior Design and excellent people skills are non-negotiable.
    • Previous experience in interior design, construction, sales, or related fields is preferable, but not required.
    • Some formal Interior Design schooling/training would be great.
    • Familiarity with Chief Architect or other design software is preferable but not required.
    • You must be enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and friendly to customers.
    • A willingness to work in a small, well-organized business with a growth mindset is essential.
