Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Assembly & Delivery Technician to join our growing team. This role combines product assembly, delivery support, and general helper duties. If you enjoy working with tools, building products, and staying active throughout the day, this is a great opportunity to apply your mechanical skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform indoor assembly of products such as furniture, home goods, fitness equipment, and TV setups
- Complete outdoor assembly projects including playsets, sheds, basketball systems, gazebos, grills, and patio furniture
- Assist with routed deliveries and on-site product assembly for customers
- Assemble components accurately using detailed instructions and safety guidelines
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, and move materials (forklift experience is a plus)
- Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Provide general helper support to the team as needed during deliveries and installations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, installation, or similar hands-on role preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical instructions or diagrams
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity
- Ability to lift, carry, and assemble large items
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Strong time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in furniture assembly, delivery, or warehouse work
- Forklift operation experience
- Background in fitness equipment, playset, or home installation assembly
