- Developing, coaching and leading a staff of maintenance technicians
- Leading and assisting staff with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Overseeing plant preventative maintenance programs, including coordination, scheduling and ensuring completion
- Managing plant work requests and delegating assignments to the maintenance team
- Improving, maintaining and ordering maintenance inventory, as well as keeping a consistent inventory on hand
- Utilizing the company's CMMS system for documentation and maintenance management activities
- Finding cost savings and process improvements
- Performing on-call duties and supporting the plant after hours when needed
- Monitoring the company's SCADA system to reduce equipment failures and eliminate downtime issues
- Participating in weekly management meetings
- Managing multiple project timelines and budgets, including the management of outside contractors
- Monitoring the established annual maintenance budget and finding cost saving opportunities
- Partnering with plant management and engineering on capital equipment projects and improvements
- Other duties as directed by management
- Minimum of a high school diploma with at least 2-3 years in a similar maintenance leadership position
- A background working in manufacturing maintenance
- Mechanical aptitude that includes experience troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, etc.
- Electrical aptitude that includes experience troubleshooting sensors, motors, etc.
- Supervision experience
- Microsoft Office experience, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Non-union supervision
- PLC troubleshooting and programming
- Agricultural background
- Experience working in blending environments
- Experience working with SCADA systems
- Exposure to automated systems

Non-automotive manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a small maintenance team and focus on preventative and failure maintenance in order to improve plant production. The Maintenance Manager will report to the Plant Manager and will be responsible for the maintenance activities of a growing plant. In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and motivational skill sets. Candidates should be driven, flexible, dependable and able to lead by example.
