BMSS Advisors & CPAs are looking for talented individuals with Estate and Trust experience to add to our Tax team. BMSS was established in Birmingham in 1991 and has grown to become a top 100 advisory and CPA firm in the U.S. This role would need to work out of our office in Birmingham, AL.

We are experiencing an explosion in growth and have several roles we would like to fill in this area. Additionally, beyond estate and trust our services include tax planning, compliance and assurance, merger and acquisition, advisory, wealth management, accounting services, payroll, and IT Support. Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Estate and Trust
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate effectively with clients and staff
• Knowledge of and have ability to research Federal, State and Local tax codes and regulations

Skills needed to be successful:

• Preparation and/or Review of 1041 trust and estate income tax returns
• Provide excellent client service by producing quality work, quick turnaround and attentive service
• Compile supporting financial statements and documents
• Develop skills to attract new clients and market the company's services and products and facilitate expansion of business with existing clients
