    Description

    Prominent not for profit organization in New York City seeks a Financial Analyst.

    Responsibilities include:

    Creation and monitoring of the annual budget

      • Master budget templates in Adaptive Insights.
      • Key contributor to annual budgeting process for all divisions.
    Cash flow preparation
      • Assist with monthly cash reconciliation and reporting
      • Review daily banking activity and report cash flows
    Variance reporting and analysis
      • Compare and analyze actual results with prior year data, budgets and forecasts
      • Ability to run reports across multiple financial and reporting systems like NAV and Adaptive Insights
    Reporting and deliverables
      • Effectively present and communicate results to the leadership
      • Develop and edit reports in Adaptive Insights and assist in Office Connect reporting
      • Prepare monthly financial reports
    Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
      • Comprehend business need for ad-hoc projects and present findings to the manager
      • Ability to work with large data sets
    This is a mostly remote role with occasional in office meetings in NYC

    Salary 75-95k DOE
