*** 13 Week Assignment ***

Specific Duties:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical impairments, functional limitations, and mobility restrictions. Utilize clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills to identify underlying issues and establish baseline measurements.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patients' goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines. Determine appropriate therapeutic interventions, modalities, and exercise programs to address specific needs and facilitate recovery.
Administer a variety of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, stretching routines, and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy to promote healing, reduce pain, and improve range of motion.
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies. Provide guidance on proper body mechanics, home exercise programs, injury prevention techniques, and adaptive equipment usage to support long-term recovery and functional independence.
Continuously evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Use outcome measures, functional assessments, and objective data to track improvements, modify interventions, and set new goals throughout the rehabilitation process.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, orthopedic surgeons, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers, to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches. Communicate effectively to exchange information, discuss patient progress, and make informed decisions about treatment strategies.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Record objective data, subjective reports, and treatment outcomes to facilitate continuity of care and reimbursement processes.
Stay updated on the latest advances in physical therapy research, technology, and best practices through continuing education, workshops, conferences, and professional memberships. Pursue opportunities for specialization or certification in relevant areas of practice to enhance clinical expertise and career growth.

Must have qualifications/experience:

High School Diploma or GED
2 years' experience providing outpatient therapy services to the adult population; 2 years' experience treating neurologic disorders in adults.

Experience Preferred:

Experience treating brain injury is preferred but not required.

REMOTE/ONSITE: Onsite, Indianapolis, IN

Shift Start/End Time: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (Days) with 1 hour lunch break at 12pm
