The CommunityCardington-Lincoln Local Schools are located in beautiful rural central Ohio. Cardington is a quiet community of approximately 2,000 residents. The presence of the fiber carding machine led to the name, Cardington.
The village was devastated by a major tornado on June 13, 1981 but has persevered and today is home to the Cardington Industrial Park and two major manufacturers, Cardington Yutaka Technologies and Adelet.
Although the district is located in a rural setting, major retailers and the many athletic and cultural events of the Columbus area are easily accessible, giving Cardington-Lincoln residents the joy and comfort of small-town life and the variety and opportunities of a major metropolitan area.
