- Technicians also handle tasks like stocking emergency supplies, addressing customer queries, and adhering to state laws on document maintenance and expired medication disposal.
- Regular visits to facilities are necessary for inventory checks and reviewing expired medications.
- Technicians should be on standby for 24/7 service coverage with a maximum 30-minute response time when on call.
- Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Required Licenses: Pharmacy Technician Certification, or enrollment in a Pharmacy tech training program with certification completion within 210 days of hire.
- Previous LTC pharmacy experience is a plus.
