- Implements a creative life enrichment program based on the Celebrations wellness philosophy.
- Plans and executes a monthly life enrichment calendar and newsletter incorporating five out of six areas of wellness.
- Collaborates with various team members to develop special events and themes for residents and families.
- Coordinates resident transportation and operates vehicles when necessary.
- Utilizes technology to track resident engagement and attendance.
- Develops person-centered programming and documents progress regularly.
- Partners with others to create and lead neighborhood-specific programming.
- Maintains budget and supplies for life enrichment activities.
- Trains staff on engagement strategies and devices.
- Recruits, trains, and oversees volunteers.
- Participates in resident move-out planning.
- Builds community resources to enhance residents' quality of life.
- Performs assigned duties as needed.
- Demonstrates core values of respect, integrity, commitment, and trust.
- Maintains a caring atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and staff.
- Ensures privacy and confidentiality of information.
- Maintains a safe working environment.
- Prior experience in resident transportation is preferred.
- Experience in programming for older adults is an advantage.
- Must meet insurance qualifications for vehicle operation.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
