    The Department of Internal Medicine, University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama is looking for a fulltime board eligible/board certified Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep provider to join the division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Assistant/Associate Professor level with primary responsibilities to lead the Sleep Medicine program at USA. Responsibilities will include teaching students, housestaff and fellows, patient care, performance of pulmonary related procedures, and basic and/or clinical research. The chosen candidate will also serve as the director of the Sleep Center with responsibilities for evaluating patients with sleep disorders and will also work with University Hospital Administration to develop and lead the planned USA Sleep Laboratory. The chosen candidate will join our division compromised of 7 faculty members and 8 pulmonary fellows. Faculty share weekend call and are assigned to clinical services based on activities such as research time, formal teaching at the COM undergraduate level, clinical educator role, etc.

    Successful completion/in process of completing an ACGME accredited Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Fellowship program
    Board certified in Internal Medicine and BE/BC in both Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine
    Ability to obtain medical license/DEA for the state of Alabama
