POSITION SUMMARY
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment.
Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.
Schedule is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - FridayESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Compute amounts, such as space available, and shipping, storage, and demurrage charges, using calculator or price list.
Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools, power
Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety
Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors
Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a chemical manufacturing warehouse environment with hazardous materials
Willing and able to drive a fork truck and pass certification
Willing to work overtime as needed
DESIRED SKILLS
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school)
Minimum of 2 years related experience with hazardous materials
Minimum of 1 years analytical testing experience
Working knowledge of SAP
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Attention to detail and strong math skills
Strong computer skills
Team player, individual thinker
Customer focused; positive attitude
