    Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter's 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel's 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building's legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Caf Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan - a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.

    We are searching for experienced and passionate Bartenders. This person should maintain positive colleague interactions in a friendly manner following Riggs Hotel high quality standards.

    Candidates must be able to thrive in a non-stop environment, have an open mind and a great sense of humor, and love finding solutions. The ability to be adaptable, calm under pressure, resourceful and efficient is in your DNA.

    Core Essential Functions:

    • Welcome guests in a warm, personable, sincere, and friendly manner.
    • Prep products for the bar according to program specifications
    • Collaborate and communicate with all departments to ensure seamless guest satisfaction.
    • Comply with all company policies and procedures
    • Perform all other duties re quested by restaurant manager.
    • Able to manage high volume orders with graciousness and efficiently.
    This position requires the following knowledge, skills, and abilities

    • Knowledgeable about F&B operations.
    • Willingness to learn.
    • Excellent communication skill.
    • Ability to work well under a team setting.
