    For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

    Minimum one (1) year recent experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
    Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
    Two (2) years experience as a PMHNP-BC in an academic medical center.
    Bilingual Spanish or Mandarin.
    Active participation in a professional nursing organization.
    California driver's license (CDL) if required for position.
    Completion of a BRN recognized graduate master's degree program as a nurse practitioner.
    It is the responsibility of the employee to transfer their DEA license to their new place of employment if from out of state, via online DEA portal and provide evidence of transfer).
    Submit enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through credentialing by first clinical day. UCSF Medical Center and Campus requires certain healthcare providers to be credentialed.

    In most cases this is done through its Office of Medical Affairs & Governance (OMAG) prior to the first working day.

    Credentialing and approval of the Standardized Procedures takes between 60-90 days but can vary.
