    Position Overview

    Join Voice Up as a Public Policy & Health Equity Intern, focusing on transforming complex health policy into accessible, actionable information for diverse communities.

    This role involves creating clear communication tools that help people understand and engage with policies affecting their health while advocating for equitable healthcare access.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyze health policy developments and implications
    • Create plainlanguage policy guides and resources
    • Develop accessible health equity communications
    • Research policy impacts on different communities
    • Design educational materials about health rights
    • Participate in weekly Saturday afternoon collaborative sessions with our nationwide team of student leaders
    • Build policy resource libraries
    • Track community health needs
    Required Qualifications

    • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university
    • Understanding of public health policy
    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Experience in simplifying complex information

    Position Details

    • 100% remote position with flexible scheduling
