    Job Description

    The Human Resources Intern will support the Human Resources team with various projects related to recruiting, onboarding, training, and wellness. The HR Intern will be a motivated self-starter who is eager to learn and grow.

    Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

    Business Partnering
    • Support recruiting activities for open roles including resume reviews, scheduling interviews, conducting phone screens, and background checks.
    • Assist with onboarding of new associates including orientation presentations, scheduling of meetings, conducting 30/60/90-day surveys, submitting IT requests, etc.
    • Support HR with employee engagement activities and events.
    • Assist with the enhancement of our onboarding experience for new associates.
    • Support the coordination of various training events including Manager Development Training program.
    • Assist in the development of wellness activities including coordinating the wellness fair, partnering with wellness vendors, and other activities to engage employees.
    • Support the Human Resources function on various other tasks as needed.
    Performance, Metrics Reporting
    • Assist with reviewing survey results for onboarding experience.
    • Contribute to the organization and facilitation of one-on-one meetings.
    • Maintain accurate documentation for audit preparation.
    People Management Employee Development
    • Work cross functionally engaging employees and coordinating activities with all departments.
    Knowledge, Skills Experiences

    The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Intern position will have the following educational background and experience:
    • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a major in Business Administration or Human Resources. Preferrable at a junior or senior year level.
    • Prior HR internship experience a plus.
    • Strong communications skills
    • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and HRIS.
    • A demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, prioritizing work appropriately.
    • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
    • Demonstrated high level strategic ability yet also able to dig into any level of detail required to understand issues and drive solutions i.e. Not afraid to "role up your sleeves"
