    Description

    Northrop Grumman is seeking a Configuration Analyst. This opportunity is for a self-motivated individual to join our Naval & Oceanic Systems business unit headquartered in Annapolis, MD. We are seeking a dependable individual to work in a collaborative environment. This role is responsible for planning and implementing comprehensive configuration management (CM) and Data Management (DM) processes on major programs with an emphasis on engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications. You will also establish change orders, prepare for change authorization and documentation. Review, analyze, and coordinate released engineering change data with engineering, quality control, operations, and manufacturing.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience; masters degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
    • citizen with active TS/SCI clearance to start. Ability to pass a polygraph.
    • with maintaining the Hardware Configuration Management Plan, maintain configuration item(s), change control, status accounting and audit verification.
    • communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work within diverse teams.
    • ability to motivate teams.
    • in using common engineering design, production, and office tools (i.e. TeamCenter, Microsoft Tool Set, Concur, CMPro).
    • oriented with the ability to follow processes.
    • with supporting the formal delivery of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) consisting of scheduling, reviewing, and delivering to customer.
    • with managing large data repositories of documents and folder structure.
    • with tracking the progress of program documentation and release documents that follow program requirements.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • degrees: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related fields.
    • to pass a polygraph with your current TS/SCI clearance.
    • experience configuring, administering, and maintaining SharePoint, a working knowledge of CM Tool(s) with check-in/check-out capabilities (ISE, TeamCenter, CMPro, etc.)
    • and following CM/DM processes throughout project life cycles to maintain consistent configuration control, developing, operating, and maintaining CM database and other process management tools.
    • with CMMI Configuration Management Processes (Level 3).
