    Our Structural Engineering practice collaborates with architects, building owners and builders to design elegant solutions for projects of all types, sizes and levels of complexity. From designing the world's tallest buildings and longest spans to engineering inventive "jewel-box" structures and designing major expansion projects, we continually seek the best balance among the demands of form, function, sustainability, constructability, schedule and budget.
    The Role
    We have an opportunity for an Engineer to join our Structural Practice in Seattle the summer of 2026. Candidates for the Structural Engineer position will support projects such as cultural buildings, office buildings, healthcare and research facility design, and tenant renovation work. You'll form part of a team delivering innovative structural designs.
    Responsibilities
    • Structural analysis, design and detailing for all types of buildings and materials using a variety of building codes.
    • Coordination of design work with in-house staff as well as other design professionals including Architects and other Engineering disciplines.
    • Preparation of construction documents within a BIM environment.
    • Collaborative team work, delivering projects to deadlines.
    Requirements
    • Masters degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering.
    • Hold a EIT and/or working towards the goal of becoming a Professional Engineer.
    • 0 to 2 years of experience in engineering consulting, including internships.
    • Working knowledge of current industry software, including SAP2000, ETABS, Ram, Risa3-D, PCA Software, Revit, and AutoCAD is preferred.
    Compensation
    The rate for this position generally is $75,000 - $85,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the Washington State Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful Washington State applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in Washington State or perform the position from Washington State. Similar positions located outside of Washington State will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by Washington Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
