    Position Summary:

    The CAD Designer will be responsible for gathering field measurements, creating P&IDs and ISO drawings, and 3D piping, and pipe supports models using AutoCAD Plant 3D and CADWorx Plant Professional software. Expertise in drafting and design will contribute to the successful completion of various projects.

    Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Ceate accurate and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and CADWorx software.
    • Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
    • Develop 2D and 3D models of piping and structural designs, schematics, and layouts.
    • Review and revise drawings based on feedback from team members.
    • Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
    • Perform quality checks on completed drawings and designs through model reviews to identify any errors or inconsistencies.
    • Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and related files.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

    • A degree or diploma in drafting, engineering, or a related field
    • Relevant work experience
    • Preferred Qualifications:


    • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, is essential

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D (CADWorx Plant Professional software experience a plus)
    • Strong understanding of piping and structural design principles and techniques
    • Knowledge of schematic diagrams and technical drawings
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and design work
    • Strong problem-solving skills to address design challenges.
    • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
    • Produce detailed fabrication drawings for shop.
    • Plant walk-down experience a plus.

    Physical Requirements:

    • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to use their hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
    • The team member frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
    • The team member is occasionally required to sit.
    • Able to work at elevations using appropriate safety equipment.
    • Climb ladders to access equipment.
    • The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift 50 pounds.
