Job summary
The Computed Tomography (CT scan) Technologist under the direction of the Medical Director and/or Section Head performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients. They utilize their specific modality to create diagnostic images and provide a safe patient experience.Responsibilities
* Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (stable or intensive care), research patients.* Support teaching as technology changes for themselves and others.Licenses/Certifications
* New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit* Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists* Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certificationThe job requires radiologic technologist skills with strong communication abilities to interact effectively with diverse populations requiring medical imaging services.
