    **Join Our Thriving Sports Medicine Team as a Physical Therapist**

    **Job Description:**

    - **Position:** Physical Therapist, Sports Medicine
    - **Setting:** 100% Outpatient
    - **Shift:** Days, 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM
    - **Start Date:** April 6, 2026

    **About the Position:**
    - Assess and treat neuromusculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems using physical and mechanical methods.
    - Maintain and restore function impaired by injury or disease, specializing in pain management and the promotion of mobility and health, as prescribed by referring physicians.
    - Develop, implement, and monitor personalized plans of care for each patient.
    - Collaborate with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams for optimal care.
    - Perform and direct all physical therapy modalities with exceptional attention to patient well-being.

    **Minimum Qualifications:**
    - **Education:** Doctorate, Master's, Bachelor's, or Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy.
    - **Licensure:** Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure and BLS certification required.

    **Skills:**
    - Strong accountability and assessment/evaluation skills.
    - Excellent decision-making and time management abilities.
    - Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    - Strong organizational abilities.

    **Experience:**
    - None required; we welcome new graduates

    **Supervision:**
    - Report to the Director/Manager of Sports Medicine.

    **Environment:**
    - Clean, well-lit, and ventilated smoke-free environment.
    - Potential exposure to communicable diseases, combative patients, and hazardous chemicals.
    - Subject to stressful professional relationships.

    **Physical Requirements:**
    - Excellent physical condition with prolonged standing and walking.
    - Ability to lift, position, and transfer patients and manipulate occupied equipment.
    - Capable of lifting supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
