The Position:
The Department of Biomedical Education and Data Science at Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine in Philadelphia is accepting applications for a full-time non-tenure-track Physiology Faculty opportunity.
The Department is currently made up of 24 exceptional faculty members who are responsible for teaching professional level courses in three different colleges – the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry and Podiatric Medicine. In addition, the faculty serve the post-baccalaureate pre-medical and health professions programs at the School of Medicine and the College of Science and Technology. The department has a strong teaching program and faculty members play a major role as educators and directors of multiple courses in the curricula of these schools. They provide physiology curriculum content expertise to these programs.

Lewis Katz School of Medicine
Established in 1901, Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine is one of the nation's leading medical schools and Pennsylvania's first co-educational medical school. Based on its level of funding from the National Institutes of Health, it is the second-highest ranked medical school in Philadelphia and the third-highest in Pennsylvania; and according to U.S. News & World Report, it is among the top 10 most-applied-to medical schools in the country. It educates approximately 840 medical students and 140 graduate students annually.
