    Position Overview: As the Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of healthcare financial management and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Financial Oversight:
      • Oversee day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
      • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
    2. Healthcare Compliance:
      • Stay current with healthcare regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
      • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations.
    3. Financial Reporting:
      • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and healthcare industry standards.
      • Provide timely and accurate financial reports to management and stakeholders.
    4. Budgeting and Forecasting:
      • Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
      • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
    5. Audit Support:
      • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including those conducted by healthcare regulatory bodies.
      • Provide documentation and explanations as needed during audits.
    6. Cost Analysis:
      • Conduct cost analysis and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
      • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
    7. Team Leadership:
      • Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
      • Conduct regular training on healthcare financial regulations and accounting best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred.
    • 6+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager, preferably in the healthcare industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of healthcare financial management, including Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement and compliance.
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and healthcare accounting principles.
    • Experience with healthcare financial software and systems.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
