    Defense Litigation Attorneys – Multiple Openings

    Garden City (Hybrid)

    Full-time | Permanent

    $145,000 – $210,000 (commensurate with experience)

This firm is expanding its New York team and is seeking talented attorneys across Personal Injury Defense, General Liability, Insurance Coverage, and Insurance Defense.

    About the Roles

    You'll work alongside highly regarded trial attorneys on complex, high-exposure matters, taking ownership of your cases from inception through resolution. The firm offers multiple roles at varying experience levels, with the chance to focus your practice on:

    • Personal Injury Defense
    • General Liability
    • Insurance Coverage
    • Insurance Defense

    Qualifications

    • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
    • Admission to practice in the State of New York
    • 3+ years of experience in one or more of the above practice areas
    • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
    • Excellent communication and client management abilities
    • Prior experience with legal project management is a plus

    Key Responsibilities

    • Independently manage case files and litigation strategy
    • Conduct and defend depositions, hearings, and mediations
    • Oversee discovery and ensure procedural compliance under CPLR
    • Collaborate with experts and clients to develop case strategy
    • Negotiate settlements and participate in ADR forums
    • Appear regularly in court and advocate effectively on behalf of clients
