    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Med Surg RN with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.

    The RN will join a dynamic team working in a 33-bed unit that focuses on telemetry, medical surgical, and trauma patients.

    Candidates must possess an active VA/Compact license.

    Responsibilities

    Provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry and med-surg environment.

    Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as necessary.

    Perform basic procedures such as small Incision and Drainages, Peritoneal Dialysis, and Thoracentesis.

    Utilize equipment such as EKG, Carescape monitors, and Welch Allyn vital machines.

    Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    2 years of experience in a hospital setting.

    Active VA or Compact nursing license required at submission.

    BLS and ACLS certifications.

    Must pass the Basic Rhythm test.

    Experience in Medical Surgical preferred.
