Role Description
The Housing Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day housing-related tasks to assist individuals and families in securing appropriate housing. Responsibilities include case management, assisting clients with housing applications, coordinating with property owners, and ensuring compliance with housing policies. The specialist will also work with social housing and affordable housing programs to meet client needs. This is a full-time on-site role based in Decatur, GA. We work a 4 day week, 7am-5:30pm, Monday - Thursday.
Qualifications
- Experience in Case Management and providing Social Services support
- Knowledge of Social Housing programs and Affordable Housing initiatives
- Expertise in Property Management processes and housing regulations
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to interact effectively with diverse populations
- Proficiency in using relevant software and case management tools
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred
