Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the sales group, including responding to questions and requests regarding projects. They will also work closely with the production team to address technical, mechanical, and structural queries.

In addition, they will be responsible for printing drawings, scheduling design projects, and drafting custom and standard projects as required.

Key responsibilities include sending RFIs to customers, specifying design hours for bidding purposes, verifying drawings, and working with project management on custom projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience using AutoCAD 2021 or higher, a drafting certificate, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in architecture and steel/aluminum structures, although this is not essential.

Please note that overtime may be required to meet deadlines, but overtime pay will be applied accordingly.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of AutoCAD experience
• Drafting Certificate required
• College or certificate preferred
• Timeliness, neatness, and detail-oriented required
• Ability to type
• Working knowledge of Auto-CAD 2021 or higher
• Structural and architectural background in steel and aluminum (a plus)
• Ability to work independently
