- Follow rules, policies, standards, and guidelines of employment with Westminster Services and its communities.
- Assist in planning resident care in accordance with physician orders.
- Implement resident care as per physician orders.
- Evaluate care and liaise with doctors for order updates.
- Administer medication, IVs, shots, maintain patient records, offer emotional support, patient education, basic diagnostics, and other patient procedures for residents.
- Receive and transcribe orders from attending physicians.
- Monitor blood glucose, temperature, and blood pressure as needed.
- Respond to emergencies promptly.
- Schedule doctor's appointments, arrange transportation for residents, and manage lab scheduling and results transcription.
- Supervise CNA's and LPN's as Charge Nurse to ensure provision of resident care based on physician orders and defined care plans.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold a valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. CPR Certification is mandatory. Experience in long term care is a plus. Prior experience in Med-Surg, Home Health is beneficial. Prefer candidates with experience working with the elderly or physically/developmentally disabled adults. On-the-job training offered in place of specific experience.
