    Match Charter Public School is a free, high-performing charter public school in Boston. We are a PreK-12 school serving 1,250 students.

    Middle School Science Teacher Opportunity)
    We are accepting applications for a Middle School Math Teacher to join the faculty for the school year. This position is located at our middle school on 215 Forest Hills St. in Jamaica Plain.

    The compensation for Match teaching positions ranges from $61,819-$98,889 and is based on a candidate's prior years of teaching experience.

    Staff working hours are Monday-Friday, 7:15am-2:45pm. On Wednesdays, staff stay until for 4:30pm for professional development, staff meetings and work time.
    This Middle School Science Teacher position includes a number of essential responsibilities, including (but not limited to):
    Teach four middle school Science classes;
    Develop daily lessons aligned with Match's Math curriculum in collaboration with department colleagues and leadership team members;
    Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students, and provide lots of support for getting students there;
    Assist with school programming as needed during non-instructional time; Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community

    have at least two years of full-time experience as classroom or special education teacher, preferably in an urban education setting;
    hold a valid and appropriate license issued by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, or obtain the licensure within a year of date of hire;
