    Front End UI Developer Compensation:

    Base annual salary range: $85,000

    Annual Bonus Potential: maximum 10% of annual base salary, prorated from date of hire and subject to terms and conditions

    Job Summary:As a Front End Developer at Retirement Clearinghouse you will play an important role in shaping the look and feel of our internal and client facing applications. You'll collaborate closely with our development and business to create visually effective and user-friendly web applications. This position is ideal for someone who is ready to take their front-end development skills to the next level while contributing to the design aspects of our projects.

    Essential Job Functions and Duties:

    • Collaborate with designers and senior developers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
    • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable front-end code using C# with MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
    • Assist in creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web applications.
    • Familiar with SQL and Blazor.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in web development and design.
    • Contribute to the overall improvement of our digital products' user experiences.

    Applicants will be provided with the basic equipment needed to work from home. An internet stipend is provided to employees in their semi-monthly paychecks as well.

    Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

    Experience Required: 2+ years of development experience.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA): The position requires knowledge of the following technologies:

    • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, C#, and JavaScript.
    • Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries (Bootstrap and Blazor)
    • Knowledge of design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or equivalent.
    • Basic understanding of user-centered design principles.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for staying current with emerging technologies.
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with Project Management department and other areas of the business as they are our primary users.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects / tasks.
    • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
    • Basic understanding of back-end development concepts.
    • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
