- Responsible for development control-instrumentation scope of work for capital projects under the structure of company procedures and guidelines
- Drives development of controls, instrumentation and data historian systems that contribute to the overall goals of the site
- Participates in key engineering administration activities (e.g. forecasting, specifications, designs guidelines, etc.)
- Estimates resources and timing while creating control-instrument development plans with project managers and key stakeholders
- A Bachelors degree required, preferred in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
- A minimum of 7 years of experience of increasing responsibility in a manufacturing facility in a maintenance or engineering capacity as a controls or instrumentation engineer managing complex projects
- knowledge of Delta-V and Allen Bradley control systems
- Experience with VFDs and process instrumentation

A global Pharmaceutical company is looking for a Principal Project Controls-Instrumentation Engineer to support the project engineering group and is responsible for the engineering design, implementation of upgrades, and improvements to the site control systems and data historians. This includes reviewing and advising hardware and system architecture installed on capital projects, and providing cost estimates.
