- Administer medication to patients under doctor's supervision.
- Assist Registered Nurses and Aides with lifting moving and transporting patients. Work with nursing team to maintain safe and clean work environments.
- Perform routine patient hygiene activities such as bathing oral hygiene shaving etc. if required by facility.
- Assist with serving meals to patients in accordance with dietary instructions if required by facility.
- Monitor the flow of intravenous solutions for consistency with Physician orders.
- Monitor and chart/record patients' vital signs and report any significant changes.
- Change dressings as directed by the attending Physician.
- Report any unusual situations regarding patients to the Registered Nurse.
- Assist in all emergency situations as instructed.
- Assist with admissions and discharges.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the facility.
- Education/Training: Associates Degree in Nursing
- Prior work related experience required.
- Practical Nurse State Nursing License
- Appropriate Credentials
