Job responsibilities:
Hydrology and Hydraulic analysis and modeling for bridges, large culverts, stream restoration, water, wastewater, and stormwater projects
Working with communities on environmental regulatory program implementation and stormwater permitting
Bridge scour analysis and bank stabilization design
Supporting the team in other civil engineering design projects
Other job duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will possess:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a professional office setting

Knowledge of and interest in:
Hydrology and Hydraulics
Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection and Treatment systems analysis
Asset management and pipeline design hydraulics,
Inspection, condition assessment, and proper repair/rehabilitation design Riverine and built water conveyance system modeling
Stream restoration
Dams and levees
Floodplain analysis

Ability to comprehend and interpret codes
Ability to effectively read and understand construction drawings
Ability to effectively assist in developing estimates and budgets
Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
Ability to multi-task
Desire to work both in the field and office
Willingness to travel
Valid driver's license required
