Job Title:
Medical Director

Salary:
$300k+sign on +annual incentive bonus

Our client is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Director who is board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics to join their dynamic healthcare team.

The Medical Director will play a pivotal role in planning, organizing, managing, and supervising health care services offered in our clients medical centers.

Establish work schedules and assignments for medical staff based on workload, space, equipment, and center needs.
Oversee daily operations of physician services, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Foster strong relationships with specialists, hospitalists, and other providers to enhance senior population health services.
Monitor medical performance and provide guidance to maintain quality care and cost-effective utilization practices.
Develop, revise, and implement policies, procedures, and standards for health care services.
Represent the organization in community and marketing events, promoting community engagement.
Assess, develop, and recommend strategies for compliance with regulatory requirements.
Cultivate an effective relationship with all departments providing medical guidance and expertise.
Direct and orient physicians in the correct application of approved guidelines.
Oversee the operations of wellness activities.
Graduation from an accredited MD or DO program.
~ Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
~Experience with Medicare Advantage Global Risk Models.
Experience working in medically underserved or culturally diverse communities.
Knowledge of HEDIS/STARS and CAHPS/HOS.
Experience working in medically underserved or culturally diverse communities.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
