Monday - Friday (5AM - 3PM)

Pay:
$20/HR

Skid Builders create an experience by building our skids to order- this ensures our material, no matter how it's processed, is arriving to our customers in the condition, they are expecting it.

Responsibilities:

Builds skids and pallets according to Majestic Steel and/or customer specifications.

• Prioritize and plan to meet production deadlines
• Operate all warehouse equipment in a safe and reliable manner
• Report all equipment failures to immediate supervisor
• Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by practicing safe work habits, good housekeeping procedures and adhering to safety guidelines
• Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work and in accordance with Safety Policy and OSHA standards. Items may include safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, etc.
• Assist in other areas on as needed basis
• Other job-related duties and special projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

• Experience with the use of hand tools, including up-cut saw and circular saw
• Read tape measure and follow detailed work instructions
• Operate assigned equipment in a safe, effective, and efficient manner
• Maintain neat and orderly conditions in work area and help maintain and promote safe conditions throughout the facility
• Work independently and as part of a team
