Job Description Overview The Help Desk Technician will provide and perform a wide range of systems administration and life cycle management tasks to support and sustain IT networks as directed by the Government IT LeadThis position requires a current Top Secret clearance and U.S
citizenship
Responsibilities Serve as the entry point for the Program Office by receiving, logging, resolving and/or escalating requests for service
Assist with system account and system token requests
Provide phone and desk side support to the Program Office user base
Develop plans and dates associated with tasks and provide status updates as required by the Government Program Manager
Serve as the NMCI POC to coordinate the acquisition and tech refresh of NMCI assets
Assist with system account and system token requests
Provide Assured File Transfer (AFT) capabilities across multiple classified networks following documented policies and procedures
Coordinate with other teams to assist in the installation of infrastructure hardware and software
Communicate daily issues to include, but not limited to, network outages, system failures, or noncompliance in accordance with applicable government regulations to cybersecurity staff and stakeholders
Adhere to IS security laws and regulations to support functional operations for the network environment
Support COMSEC network devices
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required
High School diploma Possess DoD Approved Baseline Certification as Information Assurance Technical Level I in accordance with DoD M/8140 (i.e
Security+ CE)
This position requires a current Top Secret clearance and U.S
citizenship
Experience:
Demonstrated IAT Level I experience supporting network enterprise (NE) knowledge and skills
Demonstrated work experience in the Information Technology field
Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies or technical cybersecurity solutions
Demonstrated work experience with Windows operating systems
