Interim Director of Materials Needed in Nevada

The Position

An Interim Director of Materials is needed to lead all materials management functions, including procurement, inventory, contracts, and cost analysis.

Reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing supply chain workflows, focusing on quality improvement initiatives, resolving discrepancies between receiving and purchase orders, and managing item conversions.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, a hospital/healthcare supply chain background, and the ability to quickly assess and improve processes.

Must be highly organized, patient focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
Must be available to start within 2 3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.

Healthcare Waste Certification (HWC) must be obtained within 30 days of starting; FEMA IS-100.C and IS-200 certifications are required within the first three months of hire.

Minimum of five years of leadership experience, including at least three years in an acute care hospital environment (or ten years in materials/purchasing with at least one year in a hospital).

Proven experience in contracts, cost analysis, and supply chain optimization is required.

Compensation Details

Compensation Range:
$140,000 to $150,000 annually.

The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation.

Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.

The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
