Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Arizona Heart and Vascular Clinic.Responsibilities
- Have proficient knowledge in scheduling patients for vein clinic, insurance eligibility and submitting necessary documentation for authorizations
- Perform vein clinic patient care tasks: sterile procedure set up, prepping the patient, assisting with procedures, providing post procedure care
- Accurately measure patients for compression stocking therapy
- Provide thorough medication reconciliation and administer medication as directed by physicians
- Assist with taking vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature and pulse
- Provide support to clinical staff including physicians nurse practitioners and nurses
- E nsure clean organized environment for patients staff
P articipate in patient education discharge planning
