We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Grenada, MS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Create and adapt instructional materials to meet the individualized needs of students
• Provide direct instruction to students in a variety of settings, including individual, small group, and inclusion settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and development
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction and interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and behavior

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid Special Education teaching license or certification in the state of Mississippi
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
