    This is an exciting opportunity to forge a career in the Hardware & Home Improvement (HHI) Division supporting the Operation team. You will be responsible for Cost Accounting, Customs, and ad hoc/special projects as needed. There will be a constant focus on building efficiency via process improvement/ simplification.

    You will be instrumental in maintaining a strong control environment and have the opportunity to be a part of key projects within the organization. Additionally, you will be afforded diversity with interaction within the organization as a finance liaison and be a part of a dynamic team.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • (30%) Set-up of costs for new products. Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, services provided or customs charge, to determine effects on cost.
    • (25%) Coordinate & prepare annual standard cost setting process, including updating standard costs, analyzing year-over-year variance, and ensuring accuracy in new standard costs.
    • (20%) Participate in the month-end close process including Customs Accrual/Receivable, Account Reconciliation and maintain SOX documentation for cost accounting functions.
    • (20%) Complete other special projects for various departments as necessary. Acts as the finance partner on special project teams.
    • (5%) Identify & Implement process improvement/simplification; streamline reporting.

    Education and Experience Profile

    • Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
    • MBA and/or CPA a plus.
    • 1 3 Years Finance/Accounting experience.

    Required Skills

    • Operations/manufacturing finance experience is a plus.
    • Ability to create and maintain strong business partnerships with internal customers.

    Proven ability to achieve results through influence

    Results oriented has track record for delivery results, takes ownership and is accountable

    • Strong analytical skills
    • Self-starter with strong business acumen, problem solving skills, and ability to work independently.
    • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles including full understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
    • Advanced PC skills, specifically strong Excel, Access, and data mining.
    • Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
    • Experience with Essbase, SAP, MFG PRO and Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) a plus.

    Work Environment:
