- The safe and efficient operation of the hyperbaric chamber and related support systems as well as the safe delivery of hyperbaric oxygen therapy to the hyperbaric patient
- Acting as a hyperbaric observer during treatments inside a pressurized hyperbaric chamber
- Responsible for ensuring that the hyperbaric observer is alert and attentive to patients
- Providing patient education and orientation about hyperbaric oxygen therapy
- Checking patient vital signs and updating patient chart
- Assist in the start-up and shut down of the facility
- Responsible for completing equipment maintenance on time
- Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT)
- Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS)
- Certified Hyperbaric Wound Specialist (CHWS)
- Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRT)
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Military Corpsman or Medical Services Specialist
