Requirements / Qualifications

Education:
Master's Degree in Speech and Language/CCC

Valid California Credential Qualifications:

Two years of school-based experience preferred Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with online/virtual meeting platforms including Google Hangouts, Blackboard, Zoom, etc.

Comfortable delivering services to students in a virtual setting Operation of all computer and assigned software May require some travel Possess a CA Driver License Ability to travel overnight Resident of California Application must include:
Cover letter 3 Letters of reference Current Transcripts License/Credential

Under the direction of the Director of Special Education and Student Support Services, the employee will be required to support Heartland Charter School Students in a capacity of primarily providing speech and language services in addition to completing screenings and assessments when needed.

The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) assists in developing speech and language skills to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of our students.

In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the SLP serves as a member of the Heartland Charter School Special Education and Support Team and will be expected to collaborate and consult with all Heartland staff.
