Description
We're looking for a Engineering Delivery Manager to start, manage, and grow software delivery for our clients in the United States and Canada.
The role entails building teams from our existing capacity and new-hires, and working with our customers to ensure software is delivered on time – yielding satisfied customers and happy software engineering teams.
Additionally, the candidate will always be on the lookout to refine software development, test, and release processes to ensure everything is going smoothly and that over time our customers request larger teams, as they regularly do today.
To summarize, here are the goals for this position:Ensuring customers are happy with deliverables & development velocity
Ensuring engineers are happy and the team is cohesive
Working to expand our team size deployed on a project
About you
You're looking for a new challenge – you've already built large teams, delivered dozens of software projects to a number of happy customers, kept teams happy and engaged with their work, and defined software development and testing processes to optimize for both customer and developer happiness.

In particular, here are the things you'll participate in:Communication with customers, troubleshooting, making technical decisions
Close interaction with our recruiting team, overseeing the selection and evaluation of software developers and key technical staff
Conducting interviews and making offers (mostly engineering and QA positions)
Ensuring a smooth journey for new-hires joining a project from a technical perspective
Risk management across a diverse range of projects
Requirements
In this role, we're looking for candidates who have
At least 7 years of experience in software development in roles you've held in the past
Ability to work with objections
Ability to learn fast and adapt to changing conditions
Ability to multitask and prioritize
At least an Upper Intermediate level of written and spoken English
