This position offers a unique opportunity to work on-site at Tyndall Air Force Base, collaborating with our experienced engineering professionals, and to contribute to projects across various USAF bases, both within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Overseas (OCONUS).
Position Overview: As an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer at FTS Federal, you will be an essential part of our team, supporting engineering initiatives and working on a variety of projects that directly impact the ready state of USAF Engineering Command operations. This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility of working partially on-site at Tyndall AFB (2-3 days per week), along with the opportunity to work from home the remaining days while collaborating with teammates at other USAF bases. Some travel to other USAF bases is required.
Key Responsibilities:
•
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to design, develop, document, and make recommendations to maintain electrical systems and solutions.
•
• Assist in the execution of projects, ensuring compliance with relevant safety and quality standards.
•
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and reports as well as contribute on briefings of current state initiatives.
•
• Support various engineering initiatives across USAF bases, both CONUS and OCONUS.
•
• Learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies while actively participating in the growth of your engineering career.
Qualifications:
•
• A bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Electrical Engineering.
•
• Eager attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow within the field of electrical engineering.
•
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
•
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
•
• Flexibility and willingness to travel to other USAF bases as required.
