Job Description:

The Massachusetts Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS) is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Application Developer to join the Enterprise Application Services Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an IT professional to contribute to critical statewide initiatives by leveraging strong application development skills, expertise in complex hybrid architectures, and exceptional communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, design, and support development enhancements to Peoplesoft HCM application.

Stay updated with new releases, tax updates, and patches, presenting new features to the project governance board.

Independently manage tasks end-to-end, taking ownership from design to production migration and communicating effectively with various teams.

Handle customer requests promptly within the organizations SLA and ensure Section 508 Accessibility compliance.

Support business analysts in production support or new functionality fit-gap sessions.

Collaborate with internal/external teams to ensure development, configuration, and implementation align with user specifications.

Provide guidance to management on system administration and operational issues.

Participate in all phases of application test scripting and testing, ensuring accurate and timely migrations.

Train FTE Staff in new features and best practices for implementation.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

7+ years of experience in Peoplesoft HCM Implementations.

4+ years of experience leading business fit-gap sessions and requirements development.

Expertise in providing demos of new features and functionality.

Ability to operationalize new features and work with developers in automation.

Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills.
