    Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
    Associate Director Duties:
    • Represent the University's Athletic Department at conference, state, and national levels as required.
    • Represent the Director of Athletics, when necessary.
    • Assist individual coaches in budget preparation.
    • Assist the development the total athletic budget.
    • Assist coaches in scheduling and maintaining master schedules of athletic events.
    • Supervise recruiting in all sports, including the interpretation of pertinent rules.
    • Evaluate eligibility of student athletes.
    • Assist with the coordination of all athletic fundraising efforts.
    NCAA Compliance Coordinator Duties:
    • Serve on various search committees for athletics staff and coaches.
    • Serve as the compliance liaison with other University departments including Athletics, Admissions, Student Financial Services, Registrar, Academic Support Services, and other departments as required.
    • Develop and direct a comprehensive program for educating, monitoring, reporting, and complying with all NCAA, NE-10 Conference and Franklin Pierce rules and regulations.
    • Act as liaison with the NCAA, NE-10 Conference, Financial Aid, and Registrar's offices for compliance and scholarship issues. 2
    • Interpret or secure interpretations for compliance with NCAA rules and procedures.
    • Maintain educational materials such as the coaches' and student athlete's compliance handbook, annual NCAA rules brochure for alumni/booster/and the general public.
    • Maintain compliance records collection, and continuously monitor compliance records, conduct interview when necessary, and report violations in accordance to NCAA and Franklin Pierce University policies and procedures.
    • Monitor the NCAA Employment Program for Student Athletes.
    • Compile, review, and submit requests for eligibility waivers and other requests for waivers and appeals related to NCAA rules.
    • Compile data required for NCAA reporting and submit to the NCAA when required in the format the NCAA requires.
    • Other duties as assigned.
