Client is looking for a Switch Technician in the North Dallas area. This is a hybrid role, with 3-4 days on site per week required. W-2 Candidates only

Must-haves

4+ years experience in a switch technician role

Experience troubleshooting Transport outages

Strong monitoring, network provisioning and circuit testing

Experience with Nokia product/ router experience

BTS site manager experience

Hands on experience with RAN equipment

Prior T-Mobile experience (NOC, switch, field, etc.)

Plusses

Microwave knowledge

An employer is looking for a Switch Technician in the Dallas, TX area. Your primary responsibility will be to test, locate and support complex equipment issues dealing with the clients wireless network equipment. These tasks will include troubleshooting transport outages, equipment check in/ check out, coordinate with equipment vendors and handle configuration and fault management for a range of platforms. You will perform backups and conduct maintenance on various equipment and work with telecom vendors to meet schedules for new equipment installations. You will also work with technicians in the field on upgrades to older equipment, system/ network troubleshooting and circuit testing.
