DeLand, Florida construction company seeks an able-bodied mason and/or general laborer(s). We install epoxy overlayment flooring for high-end commercial and residential customers. The starting pay for an untrained and inexperienced laborer is $16 per hour. Masons are preferred, and the pay rate will be greater for a trained mason with prior experience. Starting pay for that applicant will be commensurate with experience. We pay weekly by payroll and offer direct deposit. Employment is full time with seasonal fluctuations typical with construction.

Applicant must be neat in appearance and pass a criminal background check and drug test. Applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States as we E-Verify.

Must have reliable transportation and report to work at employer's DeLand warehouse early in the mornings, generally between 5 and 6 AM.

The workday occasionally runs late into the afternoon or early evening. Weekend work and holiday work is sometimes required. Overtime is paid after 40 hours at 1-1/2 times the hourly rate.

Applicant must be physically fit and able to lift, bend, and kneel. Please don't apply if you have bad knees or a bad back.
