Job summary
Sr. Program Manager Job Responsibilities Supervise a team of program managers providing technical and project management guidance and coordination across sites Key participant in preaward strategy development and proposal activities Supports preparation of proposals program business plans and statements of work Translates customer requirements into product and service specifications and budgets Primary program interface with the customer manages that customer expectations are consistently matched with contractual obligations throughout the program Directs all phases of customer programs from inception through completion Responsible to deliver assigned programs on schedule within budget Coordinates with functional managers to secure resources required meet program objectives Assumes lead accountability for developing maintaining master project plan/roadmap achieving project milestones schedule Influences various line functions customers deliver required outputs meet project milestones on time Lead assembly monthly financial close reporting tools development programs remaining costs contractual compliance internal audit standards customer budgets if exist Shift Day Experience/Education/Skills Qualifications/Characteristics Strong skills successful program management principles emphasis quality cost schedule Ability financially understand drives our customer this program what put place internally meet needs Financial skills knowledge understand contractual noncontractual issues covering incidence cost revenue generation recognition capital requirements project accounting development NRC lean accounting facilities Ability develop maintain strategic relationships manage difficult situations projecting company competence confidenceJob description
