Job Summary The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for providing mechanical design, technical analysis and resolution of engineering issues that align with customer and industry requirements.

Utilizes knowledge and skills as sound contributor. Organizes and manages multiple concurrent projects.

Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local United States payroll.

At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated annual salary for this position is 80k to 120k.

Minimum Job QualificationsResponsible for the designs, evaluation and tests new productsProduces and tests functional prototypes from a completed designModifies existing designs to incorporate new technology or functional improvementsTroubleshoots field related problems and proposes solutions and plans of actionApproves disposition requests for products manufactured out of specificationsGuides and coordinate efforts of drafters or techniciansWorks under general guidelines from direct supervisorMay report to higher-level engineer or to Engineering ManagerOther tasks as assignedCandidate must have the legal right to reside and work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor's degree in EngineeringWorking knowledge of engineering software packages such as AUTOCAD, MathCAD or Autodesk InventorPreferred Qualifications4-6 years relevant experienceIndustry related certificationsOilfield experience
